How do I get a work permit?
Your employer will apply on your behalf to the canton of residence for a work permit. This application can be submitted immediately from the date on which S protection status is granted. As soon as the work permit has been issued, you will receive a confirmation letter. The canton checks whether the applicable salary and working conditions have been complied with. Normally, the work permit is issued within a few weeks.
